Turkey has announced its intention to register medical tourism as a brand in the country, aiming to the growth of this sector day after day.
This came in the words said by Turkish Health Minister Fakhruddin Koca, in press statements made to the Anatolia News Agency.
The Turkish minister said that they have started the necessary procedures to register medical tourism as a brand in the country, pointing out that the sector has achieved great development during the last 17 years.
He pointed out that about 500 thousand patients received treatment in Turkey in the context of medical tourism, stressing that they aim to give more space in the tourism sector of the country.
