Preference for new and rocky buildings
Thousands of citizens looking for a home want to live in new, rocky buildings and prefer less-storied apartment.
Huge demand for homes
According to realtors, there is a raid on the safest areas of Istanbul such as Bahçeşehir, Göktürk, Zakariyaköy, and Beykoz. Real estate agents say that citizens want to exit the buildings given the risky report immediately and start looking for new homes.
Housing prices – Overview
House prices vary according to region. Prices for single-storey villa start from one million dollars. The prices of 2+1 houses in Bahçeşehir range from 500 to 700 thousand Turkish liras. Prices in Zekeriyaköy go up to 1 million dollars, while prices in Beykoz are over 1 million dollars.
The price of 1+1 houses in residences is not less than one million Turkish liras. So many houses are needed to rent. There is a 30% price difference between old houses and new houses. If the rent of an old house is 2,000 Turkish liras, the rent of a new house in the same region starts from 3,000 Turkish liras.
