Average rent price in Istanbul is 1486 TL

According to the rent index data for the third quarter of 2019, the rent index in Istanbul decreased by 2.25 points compared to the second quarter of 2019.

Some Turkish websites have announced rent index data for the third quarter of 2019.

The Rent Index in Turkey fell by 1.43 points compared to the previous quarter. In Istanbul, the index fell 2.25 points, while it is expected to fall 2.17 points by the end of the year.

The average rent price per square meter in Istanbul is 15 TL, the average property rent price is 1486, and the payback period is 22 years.

The cheapest and most expensive rentals in Istanbul

According to the data of the average rent price square meter in Istanbul districts, the cheapest rents are in Arnavutköy and Çatalca with 8 TL / m2, Sancaktepe, Sultanbeyli, and Sultangazi with 9 TL / m2, Çekmeköy and Pendik with 10 TL / m2, and Beylikdüzü, Esenyurt, and Tuzla with 11 TL / m2.

However, the highest-priced districts are Kadıköy with 19 TL / m2, Şişli with 21 TL / m2, Bakırköy with 23 TL / m2, Beyoğlu with 26 TL / m2, Beşiktaş with 27 TL / m2, and Sarıyer with 28 TL / m2.

Considering the payback period of the real estate in the districts with the lowest and highest rent, it is 25 years in Arnavutköy, 28 years in Çatalca, 24 years in Sancaktepe, 26 years in Sultanbeyli, 23 years in Sultangazi, 26 years in Çekmeköy, 26 years in Pendik, 20 years in Beylikdüzü, 19 years in Esenyurt, 25 years in Tuzla, 34 years in Kadıköy, 23 years in Şişli, 33 years in Bakırköy, 19 years in Beyoğlu, 36 years in Beşiktaş 30 years in Sarıyer.

Mecidiyeköy, Göztepe, Bahçeşehir, Kayaşehir, Sefaköy, Halkalı, and Ataköy were the most required areas for rent in Istanbul.
